Zarraffa’s Coffee is proudly Australian owned, with its Headquarters based in the beautiful Gold Coast, the origin of the company. The Zarraffa's Coffee experience has become something of an icon to many Gold Coasters and moreover many Queenslanders.Today, Zarraffa's Coffee has 50 stores across South East Queensland and remains committed to 'striving to make an individually perfect cup of coffee - every time!’.

Zarraffa’s Coffee received the Gold Coast's most venerated honour of being awarded Gold Coast Business of the Year in 2007 and 2008. In addition to this, Zarraffa's Coffee has won the Retail, Wholesale & Distribution Award for the last three years in a row in the Gold Coast Business Excellence Awards.

Zarraffa's comes from the Arabic word 'Zarafa' which means 'Giraffe'. The Masai Giraffe typically inhabits the Savannah's of Kenya and Ethiopia, being the origin of coffee. It's the great Masai Giraffe that stands 'Head and Shoulders above the Rest' in the Savannah from which we draw our motto - to be Head and Shoulders above the Rest! Zarraffa’s Coffees commitment to detail, the ‘fresh is best’ mantra and own exacting standards, combined with quality service are what makes the Zarraffa’s Coffee experience ‘Head and Shoulders above the Rest!’

Nominated in the Business Review Weekly's Fastest Franchises in 2010, Zarraffa's Coffee was ranked 29th of 100 established organisations by revenue. Zarraffa’s Coffee has also received recognition for its freshly roasted coffee beans in the Equal Golden Bean Coffee Roaster competition in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2010.

In 2010, Zarraffa's Coffee launched GRIND™ Magazine, created by, and for, lovers of Community, Culture and Coffee with emphasis on travel, music, food and lifestyle in one of the greatest locations on earth…Australia!

The quarterly magazine can be found in all Zarraffa’s Coffee stores and is complimentary to Zarraffa’s Z Card™ holders with any purchase or can be purchased for $4.95.
